Pilot Rock 4x4 trail offers an easy backcountry 4x4 drive along with several moderate
and difficult bypasses from the main trail. Pilot rock offers spectacular views and varied
terrain from high desert to alpine. Pilot Rock is Forest Service Road 2N33 with access
from Highway 173 north of Silverwood Lake and also from Highway 173 northwest of
Lake Arrowhead.
